So, may I introduce to you “The Great Gig Meme in the Sky”.
Everyone loves going to gigs, don’t they?! But what we’d really love to find out from you is regarding 5 gigs in particular. So, for this meme, we want to know -

What was your first gig?
What was your worst gig?
What was your best gig?
What was your last gig?
What is your ‘dream gig’? (Or in other words, which band / solo artists have you always wanted to see live but never had the chance? I’m not talking about bands like The Beatles here –we must all regret never seeing them but it would have been impossible as they split up before some of us were even born – I’m talking about bands who you could have easily seen but somehow missed).

What was your first gig? I’ve never been a big one for gigs and haven’t been to many but my first gig was erm…Busted. Now I must say it was a treat to my wife and I must have been still trying to impress her. The main thing is she enjoyed it.

What was your worst gig? Basically as above, we did get to stay in London so I did get something out of it. I must have been the only guy in the whole place. I think it must have been around 2002 when they were massive.

What was your best gig? This may be be cheating but its without doubt Tim Minchin. He performed in Brighton with a full orchestra and it was simply amazing. It already helps that I’m a massive fan and he is simply genius. He said he’d never tour with an orchestra again as it was too expensive put I recommend watching the DVD.

What was your last gig? Sorry to be boring but Tim Minchin was my last gig, but as a treat I’ve included a video.

What is your ‘dream gig’? My dream gig would have been Eminem in his prime. From the moment I first heard ‘My Name Is’ I was hooked and to have seen him perform with Dr Dre and Snoop and even 50 Cent would have blown my mind. Unfortunately he doesn’t really tour so I’ll have to watch the YouTube videos.
