Plush Wenlock Olympic Mascot Soft Toy Review

Unless you happen to live in a cave you will know that this summer sees the Olympics being hosted in London, and you’ll also have heard of the Iconic mascots Wenlock and Mandeville.

The name Wenlock is inspired by Much Wenlock, a small town in Shropshire that is at the heart of Olympic history. Baron Pierre de Coubertin was invited to watch the Much Wenlock Games, which were inspired by the Olympic Games of ancient Greece.

As you would expect from Official Olympic products this is very well made and is part of Golden Bear’s Olympic mascot product range.

It’s a lovely soft plush material that looks like it can take a lot of loving from the girls. When it came through the post Aly wanted to know everything about the Olympics and fingers crossed will now let me watch some instead of Peppa Pig.

I have to be honest and say I’m tempted to keep this soft toy away from the children and keep it for future generations as I’m pretty sure the Olympics won’t be coming back to these shores in my lifetime.

The Wenlock 30cm Plush Olympic Mascot has an RRP of £19.99 and more Olympic Mascot products are available from Golden Bear
