This past week we have been lucky enough to have been trying out the food subscription box from Flavourly.
Each flavour box is packed with a selection of independently produced artisan food products from all around the UK. Every month you’ll get a packed box from small shop owners and market traders giving allowing them to get their products out there and into peoples hands and stomachs.
Flavourly also work closely with FareShare food bank charity meaning they donate ONE meal to them for EVERY Flavourly Box purchased.
Now importantly how was the food?
In my box I received
- Farmhouse Nettle Cheese
- Bacon Jam
- Oatcakes
- Rooibus and Vanilla Tea
- Air Cured Beef Biltong
- Whisky Tablet Slab

I think I can safely say I would never normally go into a shop and select these items and that’s what we loved about this box. It made us try new and different things and some we loved and others not so much. I never expected to like everything but it takes you out of your comfort zone and you find some amazing food such as the Bacon Jam. This is such a strange idea yet it works perfectly on toast and I didn’t even know they made Bacon jam but thanks to this box I now know and I’ll be getting some more.
A Flavourly monthly food subscription is £22 per month but as a very special offer Flavourly have given me a code to pass on the the readers so you get £10 OFF your first box just use code ‘FLAVOURLY10′
