Introducing my BritMums Live 2013 Sponsor @Hairbond

This June I will be going to Britmums Live for the first time and I’m really looking forward to it and to meeting other great bloggers.

I knew a lot of people have gotten themselves sponsors’ to 2012 and this was a route I wanted to take too and I knew exactly who I wanted to ask.

I wanted a brand that was growing, I wanted a British company and I wanted something a little bit different. I wanted a company where this was perhaps not their normal market and a company and owner that I’d been dealing with for a  while and had a good relationship with.

The sponsor I wanted was without doubt Hairbond and the brilliant Scott Michaels.

Hairbond-White-logo1Many people had read this blog probably haven’t heard of Hairbond so I will try my best to teach you about it.

Expert hairdresser Scott Michaels founded Hairbond in 2008 after getting fed up with poor imports and gimmicky brands. Scott Michaels has been a men’s hairstylist since the age of 16 and owned his first salon at the age of 19.

Since the start in 2008 Hairbond has grown massively and is now being exported all around the World. Hairbond was also one of six businesses selected from thousands by Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis’s Small Business Sunday.

The difference of Hairbond is that it’s designed by a professional for professional. You won’t find Hairbond in Boots, Superdrug or the supermarket, it’s available in hair salons and on the internet.

Having used the products for the past 3-4 years I can honestly say their products are brilliant. Currently the range has 8 different products, including a shampoo and conditioner which smell amazing. Plus they also have a product called Hairbond Shaper Professional which smells like toffee and is my favourite of their products.

Good work you! I think it’s really important to have a brand that you believe in, and that’s why I was chuffed with Orchard Toys. This is brilliant and can’t wait to see you there, you’ll be able to join forces with Tom and increase the number of male bloggers there!
