#CountryKids – Garden Fun

Can you believe we actually managed to grab a day where we got out in the garden.

We didn’t really do much once in the garden but the girls always enjoy messing in the mud.

Sorry for the lack of words but I think the photos do a much better job than my words would have.

That looks a great garden. Sounds like I shall be coming to you for my food shopping – I’m useless at growing things and our garden needs lots of work.

That sounds like an ambitious list, I will watch with interest, and MUST get round to doing ours too!

I really need to get out and get the ground prepared and seeds sown; this year we *will* grow vegetables.

I really wish I could tempt my girls to play in the mud now! They’re both pre-teens and getting too concerned about their nail polish or other girly things :-( I’d make the most of it whilst they’re small, hopefully once you’ve got them excited about gardening it’ll be something that sticks with them for years to come – particularly when they can reap their little harvest!
