Playmobil’s much-loved characters and themes are all set to jump onto the page, as the toy brand launches its first ever UK magazine. Playmobil Magazine aims to make learning to read enjoyable for little ones, transporting them into a world of creative play and letting their imaginations run wild.
Playmobil Magazine is packed full of stories and activities with an emphasis on learning through fun. Each issue comes with an exclusive, collectable character for youngsters to play with to their hearts’ content, and there will also be a pull-out poster and competitions to win some fantastic Playmobil goodies. Every issue will be themed around a specific playset, with the first issue focusing on the ever-popular Pirates range.
The UK version of the title, from Redan Publishing, follows the magazine’s great success across Europe, in countries such as Germany, France and Greece.
Jamie Dickinson, Marketing Manager for Playmobil commented “We are thrilled that Playmobil Magazine has arrived in the UK, to make learning to read fun and imaginative for children. Playmobil’s ethos is very much that little ones learn most effectively by being able to use their active imaginations and playing creatively. We hope that children will look forward to their monthly combination of stories and activities, and of course playing with the exclusive Playmobil figure with each issue.”
Julie Jones, Publishing Director at Redan, comments: “We are proud to be working with such a trusted and well-known toy brand which parents and children adore. The themes and collectable figurines allow children’s imaginations to run wild, whilst the magazine format will help to encourage reading amongst children.”
Playmobil Magazine retails at £3.99 and is now available from all major and independent newsagents and supermarkets.
